Main Library Computer Center re-opens Tuesday, September 1. Computer Center hours are 11 am-6:50 pm Monday-Thursday and 9:30 am-5:20 pm Friday and Saturday. Sundays the library remains closed for deep cleaning. Visitors may use a computer for up to one hour a day. Computers are available on a first come, first served basis. September is National Library Card Sign-up Month! Has your library card expired? Renew it online.

• Go to the CLEVNET “online renewal form.”
• Enter your library card number and self-renew your card for one year.

This will extend your card’s privileges for one year during the current COVID-19 outbreak. (It will not renew if your card is not already expired.)

Engage with programming that inspires literacy, creative thinking, learning, and connection with each other. Online programs are held via Zoom meetings and on Shaker Library’s YouTube Channel.  Follow us on social media for the latest! Some programs require preregistration, so check the events calendar and sign up to get access.

In May 2018, taxpayers passed a 1.9-mill operating levy and some of those funds will be used to renovate the library into a building that will allow easier access for the entire community with flexible spaces for reading, research, and computing.
