The Art Gallery on the second floor of the Main Library features exhibits by local artists and juried contests, such as the annual Barbara Luton Art Competition
If you like to discuss books you`ve read, join a Book Discussion Group! There are several groups that meet at different times and focus on different genres and themes.
The Children’s Department offers programs for infants through school-age children, including after-school specials, storytimes, and the summer reading program. The library also offers events for families. Be sure to register for these and many more fun and educational programs!

Registration is required and begins four weeks before the class; please call the Main Library Computer Center at 216-991-2030 x2385. If you reach the library’s automated attendant choose Option 8 to reach the Computer Center.
Friends of the Shaker Library generally meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month in Community Room G on the second floor of the Main Library. Members of the Friends are invited to attend all meetings and to participate in all events.
